'The Week That Was' has now been renamed to 'This Week's Most Loved', inspired by Gh0stparties. I realised this is one of my favourite posts to read and I've finally had my lightbulb moment for the direction of the content of my blog. A big help was discovering British-Couture, an amazing blog. It clicked with me what kind of blog I would actually like to have (and not just read) and I am so, so excited to create blog posts and my own niche after months of struggling to feel comfortable with a lack of direction.
Continuing on, I'm rediscovering my colourful beanies stash and my annoying thick hair has been loving it. On the beauty front, I've been all about juicy looking skin again after having a minor dalliance with more "natural" skin, and the Jemma Kidd highlighter has been the ultimate trick. And I hit pan. Oh no. My ever dry t-zone has been a pain but thank God Laura Mercier's Silk Creme Foundation has been around to help with its natural radiance and dry patch friendly nature. My brows are having a better time thanks to the Elf flat eyeliner brush - who knew this sort of brush worked so well for brows? My brow bald patch is very happy it discovered this trick through Poppy Rawson's awesome videos. And dem hands have been genuinely more plump thanks to Balance Me. My dry hands were starting to look liney (eek!) but thank god for this rich hand cream saving me from uber dryness.
PS. this week's guilty pleasure has been a Korean drama, "Marry Me If You Dare". Oops. I haven' seen a proper one for years and this week curiosity got the best of me. It has a lot of the ol K-drama cliches but with a smidge of social commentary with the protagonist being an over-30 girl starting her career, something I do feel connected to since I also started pretty "late" for my chosen path too. It's not the best drama ever, but I'm pretty addicted.. *sheepish grin*
What have you been loving? :)
