'Tis been a good week this week. I caught up with a few of my mates this week and last night I went to a long lost friend's wedding. While it might be an average week for most regular joes, for me it was a good reminder that good friendships really are forever. For someone who felt quite isolated and not too long ago (tmi?) I'm chuffed to have had the week I had.
These were some of the pics taken last night at the wedding, my mate paid top dollar for the photographer to print out the pictures on the night (the rich bastard, ha!). Was so great to see him again, it had been like 5 years. Too long. I was so excited to see his face again when I did and his excitement made me realise what a good friend he really was back in the day. On top of that, that night I saw so many people I knew from that "era" which was so fun.
It's funny how things line up. If it wasn't for a super late AM train I had to catch 3 weeks ago, I wouldn't have bumped into someone from that era, and then be able to reconnect with one of my close mates from 5 years ago and just in time before he got married. I'm just feeling so grateful right now.
