MAC EYESHADOW, HANDWRITTEN || NARS BLUSH, MOUNIA || CHANEL LE VERNIS, ROUGE NOIR
currently on play: one republic, secrets
I can't help it, this colour really is so beautiful but it really is something special in the winter. Although Sydney winter is well, not really winter, Imma indulge in this colour anyway :D The chunky Boohoo cardigan has become quite the staple lately and while my mum says it's a bit granny-ish, she does admit to it looking rather nice on! The head gear love continues with this $2 treat from Sportsgirl headband and it keeps my thick head of hair down, a yay for bad hair days. One of my favourite blushes is Nars' Mounia which I still can't believe that it's been discontinued. It's so crazily pigmented and isn't the most blendable making it difficult to work with, but the colour is worth it. While it is a bit temperamental I love using it on fast makeup days as the strong colour is a quick way to get some oomph on my face, plus it lasts really well. I don't tend to wear burgandy all over the lid much but I've been constantly reaching out to MAC's Handwritten to line the lids and then smudged out. It's neutral enough to work with almost everything but the reddish tones still bring out this pretty wintery hue. Lastly is a burgandy polish, something I thought I would never like. This Chanel polish was gifted and thankfully so as I really love this colour on the fingertips. It just makes the hands look healthy! Another 3 weeks left of our pseudo winter, sigh, I'm definitely a wintery girl at heart.
